Terms of Service

TrackMyHours provides a web-based platform that enables users to:
- Track Time: Record work hours using real-time timers or manual entry
- Generate Reports: Create detailed reports from tracked time data
- Create Invoices: Generate professional invoices based on tracked time and project data
These services are provided to help freelancers, consultants, and small businesses manage their time tracking and billing processes more efficiently.
To use TrackMyHours, you must create an account by providing accurate information including a valid email address and username. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring all information provided is accurate and up-to-date
You agree to use TrackMyHours only for lawful purposes. Prohibited activities include:
- Falsifying time entries or creating fraudulent time tracking records
- Generating false or misleading invoices for fraudulent billing purposes
- Creating fake reports or manipulating data for deceptive purposes
- Attempting to circumvent security measures or access other users' data
- Using the service to track illegal activities or bill for unlawful services
- Interfering with the proper functioning of the time tracking system
TrackMyHours offers both free and paid subscription plans. For paid subscriptions:
- Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle
- Subscription fees grant access to enhanced time tracking, reporting, and invoicing features
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
- All fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy
You retain ownership of all time tracking data, project information, and content you create using TrackMyHours. However, you grant us permission to:
- Store and process your data to provide the time tracking and reporting services
- Use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our services
- Access your data when necessary for technical support
We will never sell your personal time tracking data or use it for purposes other than providing and improving our services.
While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:
- Temporary service outages during maintenance
- Data loss due to system failures (though we maintain regular backups)
- Lost time tracking data due to user error or browser issues
- Billing disputes arising from service interruptions
TrackMyHours is provided "as is" without warranties. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not responsible for:
- Accuracy of time tracking data entered by users
- Business decisions made based on generated reports
- Payment disputes arising from invoices created using our platform
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
You may cancel your TrackMyHours account at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your account will be deactivated immediately and you will no longer be able to access time tracking and invoicing features.
- Your data (including projects, time logs, and reports) will be retained in a deactivated state for 60 days in case you wish to reactivate your account.
- If you reactivate within 60 days, your data will be fully restored.
- After 60 days, all personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems and backups.
- Invoices and financial records may be retained as required by applicable law (e.g., for tax or accounting purposes).
- Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics and service improvement.
Paid subscription fees will not be refunded except as outlined in our Refund Policy.
We may update these Terms of Service occasionally. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of TrackMyHours after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
